That is the beauty of documentary, cinematic, storytelling photography. I take the time to get to know you two. See what makes you excited, and learn what story you want captured. This is through our first video chat, an engagement session, during the whole prep process with emails, and a questionnaire right before your wedding!

That is why all of my sessions and wedding are heavily influenced by movement filled prompts verses stiff, awkward posing. I promise that I will be there EVERY step of the way to help and direct y'all when needed! But don't worry, we will get one "picture perfect" posed image for  your grandma's frame.

There is nothing worse than feeling like you cannot trust your photographer on your wedding day, or feel extremely uncomfortable in front of the camera.

It’s more than just “candid” moments. 

Documentary style wedding photography means capturing the imperfect, real moments that unfold during the full wedding day. Of course, I will always be there to help and propose prompts if needed. But overall, you should be living in the moment of you wedding day -- not feeling stiff and staged during the full wedding day. Allowing the day unfold authentically with some direction when needed (I PROMISE I will be there to direct whenever needed!)
